Love Cannot Be Learnt In Isolation

John 15:13 Learning to love unselfishly is not an easy task. God wants His family to be known for its love more than anything else. Jesus said, "Your strong love for each other will prove to the world that you are my disciples." Let's take on this training.

When We Work, we work. When We Pray, God Works..

What kind of encounters can we have with God in times of broken relationships & loss? Food for thought ....

God's supernatural strength is available to praying people who are convinced to the core of their beings that He can make a difference. ... "It's amazing how many coincidences occur when one begins to pray."

A Year To Rejoice - 2010

Here comes Jan, our prophetic time again ... How exciting this year of conquest & enlargement of our tent it is going to be!

This year, the Lord tells me that I have many reasons to rejoice. For one, the Lord is taking me to higher ground. He has new avenues, horizons, opportunities and new ministries for me. The Lord is also preparing me so that my heart can be widened and deepened to experience the love of God.

It is also a year of receiving gifts - material, emotional gifts of encouragement, emotional gifts of affirmation, spiritual gifts of the Word of God and counsel & wisdom. God will supply all my needs and there is nothing I will lack.

God also promises that I will receive the gift of health in this year. I am claiming complete healing and restoration for my physical body.

Part of receiving gifts in this year is also the gift of a good team. God will, together, allow us to reach new heights! We will be like rockets being launched out. God will give us plans & strategies to enable us. Allow me to be that conduit to light the fire that will set my little rockets out so they will hit their targets on time and accurately.

I am so thrilled & blessed to hear and heed the Word of the Lord! Amen.

A Special Christmas To Remember

I shall remember this Christmas for a long time. I had the privilege to share at Two events today, of which i felt all praise ought to be given back to God!

1. Kid's Party - We went to bless neighbours @MP with little gifts and cards specially hand-made by our kids. The neighbours were thrilled. More than that, our kids learnt the meaning of sharing and giving at Christmas. I shared at the party about Jesus being the Prince of Peace. Many hands were raised to receive a blessing for peace in their current family & job situation, studies and even for their health. It was an awesome sight to see the kids and adults raise their hands to receive prayer.

2. Family Party - The kids put up a little simple song item and i played the guitar, though with limited skills. Ha! But again, i had the honor of sharing and praying for my family (its the first time i've ever done this!) and declaring Jesus to be their Wonderful Counsellor, the Prince of Peace and The Mighty God over all our homes. Many of them were facing serious health issues and different financial situations. Am claiming that Jesus be the Lord of their life and deliver them from these bondages & pain. I know that we will see the salvation and deliverance of my family members in the days ahead.

I felt so happy to be used as a blessing by God this Christmas. May God use my life to be that offering of praise to Him. I feel a new passion and joy rise up as I boldly stand to share Jesus with those who are lost. I want the flame to be re-kindled in my heart so that I will burn with such a deep desire to see the hearts of the Fathers turn back to their children and vice versa. Woo...my heart is leaping with such JOY!

What a delight to end the year ... Loving the Lord my God with all my heart, soul and strength and loving my neighbour as myself! I am looking forward to what the Lord has in store for me in 2010.

All glory be to God! Amen....

Victory Over Discouragement

1 Kings 19 - Story of Elijah has taught me much about how God brought him through his discouragement into his destiny.

Let's explore together ....

Meet The Others ...

Ever heard that when you buy 1, you get 3 free? Hee hee!! Well, my little god daughter comes with 3 other siblings .. here they are! The Chuas ... That's the principle of multiplication. Hoho!

I Became Godma

Do you know that a child can bring such tremendous change to our lives? No wonder the Bible says that children are a gift from God. This child has sure changed my life since I became godma to her recently. She is such a delight and God has used her to bring so much joy to me and my family.
You are such a darling, L-A!
I simply adore your smile and your 'talking' eyes!!

Goodbye E

Lost a dear friend yesterday! He battled cancer for a year and he went home to be with the Lord. Here today, gone tomorrow!! Guess it must be glorious for him.

Thank God that we had a chance to share tea together on Sat. We chatted and I blessed him with 2 books and yummy cakes.

2 cor 5:1-21
Our bodies are temporal tents and these tents can grow weary. For we live by faith and not by sight. What is our goal in living this temporal life? Vs 9. To please Him! Cos we must all stand before Christ and be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body.

Thus, like paul's encouragement, we should work hard to persuade others. Christ's love controls us or compels us. Christ died for everyone so that those who receive His new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead they will live for Christ.

Thats why, like Paul,we should stop evaluating others fm a human point of view. If we are in Christ,we become a new person! The old life is gone, a new life begins. God has given us the tasks of reconciling people back to Him.
