Psalms 2

Hey, it's day number two and thank God, I kept my word to read the Word of God before breakfast was to be served. In fact, the Lord woke me up at 3 a.m. to read Ps 2. ( That's way before breakfast - ha!)

What a comfort the Lord gave in verse 7 - You are my Son, today I have become your Father. See how God affirms or acknowledges the relationship between Jesus and the Father & even us, as children of God.

When we have such a relationship with God, we dare to move on to verse 8 to Ask of Him and He will make the nations our inheritance, the ends of the earth our possession. Let's ask boldly because He is Papa!

Verse 12 is interesting when David tells us to 'Kiss' the Son lest He be angry and you be destroyed in your way .... doesn't kiss give us a clue that God desires intimacy, closeness or even affection from us as well?
