The Fear Of The Lord

Read Proverbs 9 and the Lord was allowing me to meditate on vs 10 about the fear of the Lord being the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

The Lord has been giving me the experience of Joseph in the dungeon at my workplace recently and there were many occasions when I felt like I was ‘doomed’ for failure. Men can set us up for failure but God can and will turn every situation for our good! Thank God!! Prov 9 was such a good reminder for me that when I choose to fear the Lord, He would give me wisdom to handle situations that are really beyond me. Also, when I have a deeper knowledge of Jesus, the Son of the Living God, I will have understanding from His perspective and have the faith to believe that God is indeed for me, He is not against me!

I want to be like what vs 9 says, “Teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.” I want to be a willing warrior, teachable and pliable for God’s use.

Like I shared at the BC Cluster meeting tonight, may the Lord use us to T.O.U.C.H lives and be a blessing as we learn to cultivate faithfulness in reaching and pouring our lives to even ONE person … we are going to see the multitudes come through them!
