Trusting God

Yesterday, the Lord led me to read the whole of Proverbs 3 and I meditated on vs 4-6 about trusting the Lord with all my heart and leaning not on my own understanding. In all my ways, to acknowledge Him and He will direct or make my path straight.

In the same day, I had a personal experience where the Lord challenged me about the lordship of Christ in my life again as I was confronted with God being my Jehovah Jireh, My Provider. I was asking the Lord for a particular item and did not want to subject myself to ‘easy’ provision but I decided as the word of the Lord came to me, that I would trust the Lord completely for His divine provision because He is a Heavenly Father who loves me and if I ask for eggs, bread or fish will not give me a scorpion or a bad gift. Instead, I believe that God will provide me with His very best.
